We have chosen the award winning MasQi The Energy House situated in the heart of the Sierra de Mariola National Park (Banyeres, Spain). This unique holistic hideaway was a 19th Century farmhouse that has been converted into a boutique hotel and it couldn’t be more perfect to hold our retreat.

MasQi is equipped with the most beautifully constructed Yoga Dome, where sound healing and meditation practices are held. It hosts an outdoor swimming pool, various areas to relax within the gardens, a reading room and ten individually styled en-suite bedrooms of varying sizes.


There is also a massage house offering therapies and treatments that fuse ancient healing modalities from Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda with innovative techniques such as kinesiology.


The cuisine served is organic, ecological and of the highest quality. It is prepared and beautifully elaborated by a team of chefs with hands on experience in Michelin Star restaurants making each dish a culinary delight. MasQi has a Macrobiotic philosophy when it comes to food, which is in perfect alignment with nurturing hormone health.

THE FOUNDER: MARIA ELENA

Confused and completely unprepared by the changes occurring in my body once turning 41, I embarked on a journey of rediscovery. After endless reading and research I finally understood that I was perimenopausal. I am still on a continuous journey of learning self-care practices that nurture & support my hormones, whilst navigating the good and the not so good that comes with hormonal changes. I want to help other women do the same. After 22yrs of working with some of Spain’s most reputable textile mills, I braved a dramatic career change and with the support of my beautiful mother and daughter, Enaiya was born.

Through Enaiya, I want every women to know that self-care is fundamental as they progress through midlife. I want to change the narrative that self-care is a luxury or a form of self-indulgence. It’s none of these. Self-care is ESSENTIAL, and every woman deserves to have the power to redefine her needs and chose how she ages.


Together with my team, I will strive to empower you on your journey towards embracing your true fabulous self, as you transition through the ages.

Even if women are not yet experiencing these changes, they are encouraged to attend to gain a comprehensive understanding of what to expect, ensuring they are better prepared for the when they do occur. Peri-menopause and menopause are natural stages that, hopefully every woman will encounter in her lifetime making this retreat relevant and beneficial to all women above the age of 30.

Can males or males who identify as females attend?

This retreat has been created for females, focusing on unique hormonal changes that occur in bodies born with ovaries. This retreat provides a safe place for women to understand this transition in her life. We acknowledge that males who identify as females may experience hormonal changes however, they are not related to peri-menopause and menopause. 

Can I bring my children?

MasQi The Energy House is a space solely for adults. Coming on the retreat is an opportunity for you to disconnect from your day-to-day responsibilities as a parent or a partner, putting your self-care first. 

What is included in the price of the retreat?

  • Accommodation for 3 nights in the room of your choice (the price will vary depending on the room selected and if shared or single occupancy)

  • All activities, classes and workshops

  • All meals for the duration of the retreat (Day 1:evening meal, Day 2: breakfast, lunch & evening meal, Day 3: breakfast, lunch & evening meal, Day 4 breakfast & lunch).

  • Herbal tea and water for the duration of your stay

  • Fresh fruit

  • Gift bag

  • Recording of the classes given by our team of experts for future reference 

Are there additional treatments offered by MasQi that I book during my stay?

Are the activities and classes on the itinerary obligatory?

We encourage you to participate in all activities that we have programmed for you to get the most out of your stay. However, they are not obligatory.

Are there any dietary allowances for vegetarians or gluten intolerance?

MasQi offers a macrobiotic cuisine using only organic products of the best quality. No dairy, sugar or gluten is used. Meat is not included in any of the meals, only fresh wild fish. There are allowances for gluten intolerance. 

Can I consume alcohol during the retreat?

Alcohol is available and can be consumed at your discretion.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is permitted in dedicated outside areas.

What clothing is recommended for the duration of the retreat?

We recommend that you bring comfortable attire appropriate for exercise (including yoga) and a bikini or costume. We also recommend you bring a pair of trainers as there are a few walks included in the itinerary. In the evening you are free to dress up for dinner or take a more casual approach. This is entirely your choice.

Is there anything else I need to bring with me?

We recommend that you bring a good sunscreen to protect your skin whilst by the pool or during the walks. You do not need to bring a yoga mat or any workout equipment.  

Can I stay longer than the 3 nights included in the retreat package?

Yes of course! You can arrive before the retreat and extend your stay for as many nights as you like. Please send an email to Maria@enaiya.com detailing the dates and we will book to accommodate your needs. The cost for any extra nights is additional to the cost of the retreat package.
